Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, we explore your story together—what has shaped you, hurt you, and where you want to go from here. I draw from counseling theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, and Family Systems Therapy, among others. I aim to find the perfect combination of my training and experience and your natural strengths and coping skills that best supports your growth and healing.
If important to you, I can also integrate Christian faith into the therapy process by drawing from Biblical principles and values, theology, and trusted Christian authors. However, I will never impose my beliefs or values on you. I welcome and respect clients from all backgrounds and belief systems—this is a safe space for you to show up just as you are.
Have you ever found yourself in one of these scenarios, stuck without the tools or resources to know where to go from here?
-
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand and bring compassion to the parts of yourself that drive perfectionism and over-responsibility. Through this process, you’ll develop a deeper connection with yourself, gain clarity about why you’ve been carrying so much, and find the strength to finally set some of that weight down.
-
Using somatic and polyvagal-informed therapies I will guide you in noticing how your body responds in these moments—helping you tune into signals of stress or shutdown and practice responding with greater calm and clarity. We’ll work together to build the confidence and compassion you need to honor your limits and communicate them in ways that feel both firm and kind.
-
I will help you learn how to tune in to what your body is trying to communicate in order to address the root of the problem. I will also give you tools to calm your nervous system, release the tension your body has been holding, and reconnect with a sense of safety.

We’ll move at your pace, creating space for trust, authenticity, and the kind of connection you truly want. Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps you understand and bring compassion to the protective parts of yourself that keep intimacy at arm’s length, while also gently tending to the vulnerable parts that long for closeness, acceptance, and love.

We would explore how faith and psychology work together—using Scripture and theological insight as a grounding point for our work. Together, we’d look at your worth and values through the lens of faith, integrate spiritual practices into your coping tools, and discover how God’s grace and redemption are present in and through your story.
