Hi, I’m Kaelyn, and I’m glad you’re here.
At the heart of my work is a love for connection—I help clients listen to their bodies, honor their needs, and show up in their lives with more confidence and authenticity.
Professional Style
I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or intimidating—it can actually feel like a real, honest conversation. My style is down-to-earth, relational, and encouraging. I use approaches like Internal Family Systems and somatic therapy, but more than anything, I want you to feel safe to show up just as you are. I am going to be your biggest cheerleader and still gently hold you accountable to moving towards the goals you have set. I aim to equip you with a variety of tools and strategies that allow you to feel confident applying what you have learned in therapy out in the real world. I get excited when my clients start to recognize their patterns and step into change, feeling the difference in their lives. Your voice is key to the process of therapy as you learn to be more authentic and communicate honestly. I encourage you to give me feedback about what works and doesn’t work so we can collaborate in developing a toolkit curated specifically for you. I genuinely enjoy the time spent in the therapy room helping people leave behind old, destructive ways of being and start living into their values and using their voice. Life moves fast. Sometimes, we need a place where we can slow down, take a step back, and learn how we can face each challenge with more resilience, insight, and hope. I aim to cultivate that space for you.
Personal Tidbits
I am also a recovering people pleaser who suffered from severe burnout, didn’t know how to set healthy boundaries, and needed a lifeline to keep me from drowning. Now I have a life that is fulfilling and enjoyable, not without its challenges, but I am equipped with the tools, the clarity, and the resilience to know how to navigate them.
Outside the office, I enjoy exploring Austin and spending time with the people I love. You can find me jogging or walking around Town Lake, playing board games with friends, or watching some artsy movie that my husband likely convinced me to watch. My Christian faith is at the heart of who I am and shapes how I approach life and relationships. It inspires me to meet others with compassion and grace and reminds me of the importance of hope and connection in the healing process.
